Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese exercise that opens up the flow of Qi (life force energy) in the body to improve your overall wellbeing. It helps restore harmony and balance between one’s physical, mental and spiritual natures. People of all ages and abilities can practice Tai Chi. Nurture your body, clear your mind, and rejuvenate your spirit.
Yang Style Long Form Tai Chi with Martha Cheo Wednesdays 10-11am
A slow, flowing sequence of 108 postures, this traditional form has been passed down through generations of Tai Chi Masters. Tai Chi promotes balance, alignment, coordination, strength, flexibility, body awareness, circulation, immunity, and relaxation. It is largely practiced for health and fitness but becomes a martial art when internal abilities are developed over time. Weekly attendance is recommended because the sequence of moves is taught step by step; each class builds upon the previous one.
